For general health maintenance, or smooth sailing, we recommend having a Reiki session once a month if there are no apparent challenges. You feel good most of the time, with only minor or few challenges between sessions.
If there is a challenge, such as grief, an eating disorder, adjusting to big changes in your life, a highly stressful event in your life, or cancer, then once a week would be beneficial.
The numbers change if you are attuned to Reiki. In that case, it’s great to have a session to illuminate what you may be missing in your self-treatments, about once every three months.
Reiki students, practitioners and teachers who are facing a challenge will benefit from monthly, or even bi-weekly sessions, depending on how much the challenge is effecting you.
