Joanne has been writing all her life, but really only began to take her poetry seriously over the last few years. With encouragement from friends, she began publishing her work on a blog, where she earned enough positive response and encouragement to pursue publication.

‘Leaf’ was published in June, 2016. (See my five-star review of Leaf on Amazon.com)A second poetry collection is anticipated for Feb/March of 2017. (I hope it’s February!!!)

Joanne is a teacher of English, History and Drama/Production. She is an active member and performer in her local theatre company.

When she is not writing, her hobbies include travel,reading, music, and photography.
She is proud to be both an Australian and an honorary Canadian.
