Reiki for Dogs: Using Spiritual Energy to Heal and Vitalize Man’s Best Friend By Kathleen Prasad – An Invitation to Buddy Read

If you have read Animal Reiki by Elizabeth Fulton and Kathleen Prasad then you may already be a fan of how in-depth the experiences they shared are. I kept both ladies on my author list because they helped me take my animal Reiki practice to new levels. I have confidently taught students to give Reiki to a variety of animals, and I have taught animals to give Reiki to people, and even to other animals. What a sight that is! So touching!

ART III (ART) Manual

There’s a section in my upcoming release, The Reiki Cafe Reiki III (ART) Manual, offering techniques I’ve expanded into over my years as a Reiki Master Teacher and Practitioner.

I love to read one non-fiction book at a time, and I love to choose the book intuitively. That is how I chose Reiki For Dogs, which I will be starting in a few days. Would you like…

29 Days of Reiki – The Finale

29 Days of Reiki

We’ve heard some wonderful feedback about how 29 Days of Reiki helped people add more Reiki practice into their lives! We are thrilled about that, because that was our intention. In particular, Gina was told that adding Reiki in regularly opened up more time for chakra balancing and meditation, which helped with recovering from an illness and with emotional turbulence. Another practitioner hadn’t thought of adding Reiki into food, drinks, supplements and medications. Yet another found it helped her find an easy way to add more Reiki into her day. Isn’t that awesome!

Gina had a funny moment in the grocery store during 29 Days. There were eggs on sale, and she is used to picking up a carton to feel the energy of the eggs, as well as to wiggle the eggs. This time when she reached for the carton, she felt her Reiki reach out and put…

The Reiki Coil

The Reiki Cafe logo

When I began teaching Reiki I never dreamed that I would receive, or invent, a technique.  There was already a plethora of fantastic Reiki happening, so why add more?  Then, slowly, I learned more by practicing Reiki.  I taught a Reiki Master Teacher class in November, sharing so many unrecorded ideas that it took most of the class, and then, bam, it was clear to me that it was time for me to teach what I’ve been practicing.

I present for you, the Reiki Coil technique, which I invented to help to continue a flow of Reiki that was started during a Reiki session.  Though a client may be feeling great relief at the end of their session, there is often a sense that there are more releases to come.  That’s where the Reiki Coil comes in.

If you sense that more releases are coming after you’ve spent the bulk of the session on clearing, visualize a thick coil that starts at the top of your client’s energy field, and continues down past the opposite end of their energy field.  The color of the energy inside of the coil is up to you.  I usually see a bright blue color there.  Make the intention that the coil will continue to aid the client in releasing for a specific length of time.  I use my intuition to determine how long it is.  In my experience it is anywhere from three days to two weeks.

Since the coil is there to continue to help with releases, I also visualize a drain below the bottom of the coil for the releases to drain to.  You can include an intention to replace the released energy with Reiki.  It probably happens on its own, so don’t worry if you forget.

I always tell my client about the coil, the drain, and the length of time it will be active so that they know what kind of support they’re receiving, and to help them to be aware that Reiki is still active with them in case they have a large release.  I imagine it would be disorienting, or maybe even scary, to have a big release and wonder where it came from.

So, what do you think of the Reiki Coil?  Many of you have had one from our sessions together.  Do you have anything to share about your experiences with it?

The Reiki Coil technique will be offered as part of an upcoming Advanced Reiki Technique Workshop.  Contact me if you are interested in attending here at The Reiki Cafe in Joshua Tree, virtually from the comfort of your home via Google Hangouts, or forming a class so I can come to you!

As always, thank you for the time we spend together,

Reiki Technique – Bracelet Meditation

Some of you are familiar with this technique if you’ve trained with me past level I, or if I performed the technique on you in a session.  I hope you enjoy this technique as much as I have.  We have found it to be very powerful.  Please let me know if you have questions.

Reiki Technique:  Bracelet Meditation

I received this technique from my guides years ago, and I’ve used it successfully many times since it was shown to me.  The value of this Reiki technique is that it goes all the way back to the beginning of this life, from conception, to the age you are now.

Begin by drawing your symbols.  If you are level I, the technique will work without the symbols.

Place your hands on your head, and begin to give yourself a Reiki treatment.  If you are performing the technique on a client, begin at the crown chakra.  When you/they are relaxed, create a bracelet in your mind’s eye.  It can be any color you like, any shape you like, and any texture you like.  The first bracelet is for conception in this life.  Send Reiki to this bracelet until it disappears from your mind’s eye view, or until it in some way feels complete to you.

If the conception stage went quickly, and you would like to continue, go on to the next stage: birth.  If you do not have more time, or you would like to take a break, take the time to journal about what you experienced when you sent dedicated Reiki to the conception stage of this life, or encourage your client to journal about it.

Repeat this process for each stage, using these bracelets:

In my experience, it is possible to pass through a few ages in one session.  I have not seen anyone continue with this technique past the age of late 20’s through early 30’s, so if that is your experience also, you can see that it has happened before and you do not need to be concerned that you have done something wrong.

End the session as you normally would.

Thank you for learning more Reiki with me.  If you’re ready for a class, let me know and we’ll start planning.

Peace and Reiki,

What is a Reiki “Facial”?

The Reiki Facial* is a Reiki technique that I developed with my guides, well, guidance.  I noticed that a few hours into a Reiki class, my students started looking remarkably younger.  We’ve all heard that stress ages us, and this result was the illustration of that.

The Reiki Facial* is intended to focus on the physical appearance of the face, but because it is Reiki, we know that more than that is happening.  Bonus, right?!

I taught the technique in a few classes, starting with level II students.  Then I tried experimenting with it by itself and photographing the results before and after the sessions.

Cyhndi's Reiki FaceliftMy model, Cyhndi, is my Reiki Master Teacher.  She bravely went first.  She loved the results of the technique and the fact that they lasted a long time for her.  People asked her what she was doing differently to look so good.

We were thrilled!

Then is was my turn to be the model, and Cyhndi’s turn to give me the sessions.

Gina4wkfinal CollageYou can see from my progression that I had more color in my face as the sessions continued.  By the end of the treatments, my daughter told me that I looked like her sister!

The best part is that we did all of this through Google Hangouts.  Of course, it can be done in person.  That’s still an option.

Now Cyhndi and I are both able to teach Reiki practitioners how to perform the technique, and we are available to do Reiki Facials* on you!  Distance is not an obstacle.  If you’d like a Reiki Facial session, you can book one with either one of us.

Plus, we’re teaching the technique via Google Hangout.  Make sure you’re signed up for my newsletter so you can register for the next class.

Questions?  Ask away!

As always, thank you for being a part of my experience!

*Reiki Facial is a Reiki technique.  You do not need to be an aesthetician to use the technique.  It contains Reiki only.  No product is used at any time during the session.  In fact, the skin is never touched.
